Auckland From The Sky
Favourite Things
My first campaign in NZ is for an insurance company called State. Almost a quarter of the population have some sort of insurance with State so it was a massive campaign, for NZ at least. The idea was to position State as the insurance company that cares about your things as much as you do. As you'll see, the way we brought it to life was with good old shoeboxes. Enough said. We created TV, billboards and Radio, as well a massive poster in Auckland CBD (the biggest in Australasia.) We even made a massive ambient shoebox which was constructed in Wellington with a giant camera, clock and teddy bear inside. Good fun considering it’s insurance.

Easter In The Bay Of Islands
Taking advantage of the four day weekend, we jumped in our trusty Silver Nissan Primera and headed up NZ's thin northern peninsula to the Bay of Islands, which is essentially exactly that, a collection of islands in one big bay. It also happens to be the location of the Waitangi Treaty Ground where the British and the Maori's signed the peace agreement in 1840; as well as the beautiful town of Russell, once known as the 'Hell-Hole Of The Pacific.'
